While the rest of the world was out black Friday shopping, the Helping to Heal Haiti crew was hard at work creating presentations, organizing donated goods, and finishing up some last minute details for the January mission trip.
"Girls to Girls"
The Daisy Troop 4215 from Rainbow Elementary School in Coatesville, Pa has been kind enough to partner with Helping to Heal Haiti for their holiday service project. Their project consists of making small pillows, necklaces, bracelets and barrettes for young girls in Petit Goave. These generous gifts will be delivered when a team of volunteers travels to Haiti in January. We are excited to take pictures of the girls receiving these gifts, then sharing them with the Daisy Troop so that they can see the happiness that they provided.

Great job girls. Keep up the great work and thank you for helping us to heal Haiti.
On Monday, November 29 the much awaited 40 foot shipping container arrived. Alot of work and time was put into finding donors and supporters to fund the shipping container and enable the foundation to store the donated items that we receive on a regular basis. Prior to receiving the container, much of the donated items were stored in a horse trailer that Smith Transport let us use. Thank you very much to our generous friends and to Five Point Construction for sponsoring the cost of the shipping container.
